Team Sports You Haven’t Considered
You may have had bad luck trying to get your kids into team sports but is it because you’re just pushing the wrong games? Here are a few of our suggestions (so you don’t have to spend hours on your www.satellitestarinternet.com internet digging around) for sports you should consider for your kids that are a bit outside the box:
Tennis: Not typically considered a team sport, tennis is more of an individual game. Everything always comes back to team unity, though, and each loss or win adds up to make a team total which determines the outcome.
Swimming: Relays are great for building team unity and swimming’s an easy sport to get into if you don’t already have some athletic prowess. Encourage your kids to start small then try out for a school team.
Lacrosse: If you don’t live up north your kids may not have been exposed to this running game. If there isn’t a lacrosse league in your town consider starting one with other parents.
Ultimate Frisbee: A great game for the calesthenically inclined, ultimate is all about the team working together to complete the play.
